Re-established in the Lake County town of Upper Lake in late June 2005, Blue Wing Saloon & Cafe stands in the same location as its namesake. First opened in the 1880’s, the saloon remained a popular watering hole until the onset of prohibition in 1920. In the tradition of the original saloon we proudly offer our customers fine food, local microbrews and wines at affordable prices.

Meet the Winemaker Series

On the FIRST THURSDAY of each month, The Blue Wing will host the owner and/or winemaker of one of the great Lake County wineries whose vintages are featured on our list. Free wine tasting is available to all patrons as they enter the restaurant and specials for that day are carefully paired with the featured wines.
